Hockaday Brothers Moving provides local, in-state, and out-of-state moving services. Our rates include packing and unpacking, loading and delivery, and furniture assembly. We also offer FREE estimates for every move to guarantee our customers the best possible price. Our prices are straightforward, with no hidden fees or additional costs, and we charge either a fixed rate or an hourly fee.
We have two locations in Charlotte and Asheville, North Carolina, and assist families and individuals in moving from one location to another within the state. Our main focus is not only to transport your belongings, but to transport them safely and securely with utmost care. We strive to make the moving process stress-free for you, by providing excellent service that allows you to focus on other things.
We are a team of efficient, caring, and thoughtful movers. Our crew includes Jackson Hockaday, a Main Driver and Team Leader with six years of experience at Gasperson Moving and Storage in Asheville, NC. Jackson is also a graduate of Mars Hill College in 2018 and has worked as a high school Special Education Teachers Assistant and Coached JV and Varsity Basketball. Brennan Hockaday is a recent graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has one year of moving experience. He has also worked in Commercial Middle Market Banking, Wealth Management, and has a degree in Economics.
Both Jackson and Brennan hail from a blue-collar town outside Asheville, NC, and have a strong work ethic. As part of a large family of five siblings, they are competitive and hardworking individuals. We have full insurance coverage with HUB International, which includes Cargo, Auto, Workers Compensation, and General Liability insurance.
Our USDOT# is 3697146, and our MC# is 1325055. We are excited to help your family settle into your new home with ease and without any stress.

This was truly the ultimate moving experience. Not only were they remarkably punctual and organized, but they were also incredibly friendly. If it were possible, I would give them a perfect ten stars. They efficiently completed our move from North Carolina to Georgia in just 24 hours and expertly unloaded our belongings into storage with great precision. Throughout our life, we've relocated several times and have hired various moving companies. However, Hockaday Brothers surpassed all of them! Jackson and Max demonstrated exceptional professionalism as they tirelessly transported our belongings.
