Description:
Since 2009, I have instructed piano in this locality. I earned a B.A in Music from the University of Mary Washington and an M.M in Piano Pedagogy from George Mason University. Being an exceptionally skilled pianist, I can cater to a diverse range of ages and skill levels. I am proud to be a member of MTNA.
In addition to children, I also take pleasure in instructing adults. Both a Yamaha Grand and a Steinway Grand Piano are available for lessons.

My daughters (ages 4 and 6) receive piano instruction from Hiroko, an attentive and compassionate teacher who guides them through the basics. With Hiroko's help, my children have improved tremendously over the course of their lessons. Additionally, she maintains open communication with me, thoughtfully tailoring the speed and complexity of the curriculum in order to keep my kids interested and engaged without overwhelming them.
