Greetings! My name is Hillary, and I am eager to collaborate with you.

My musical journey began at age 8 when I picked up the violin, and by age 14, I was teaching others how to play. Growing up in Miami, I had the honor of performing under Michael Tilson Thomas’ direction at the New World Symphony’s youth side-by-side program and was named a yearly selection for the Miami Honors Orchestra.

Hoping to further my musical education, I decided to pursue my passion at the College of the Performing Arts at New School University in New York City. Though my background is rooted in classical music, I have explored various styles and have acquired a diverse set of techniques and equipment that allow me to modernize violin playing.

With a love for songwriting and singing, I enjoy nurturing the growth of my students and aim to guide them in achieving their musical aspirations. Thank you for considering me as your teacher!

When Hillary lived in Miami, she would generously teach students how to play the violin at our school as an assistant to the orchestra director. She was such a fantastic teacher that everyone adored her and many of us played our first notes thanks to her guidance. It was a sad day when she had to leave, but I highly recommend hiring her if you want to learn the violin.
