Having spent the last two decades in the United States, Juan remains deeply connected to his native Colombia despite his fondness for the Big Apple—the city he now calls "home" and "playground". In New York, he revels in the diverse cultural microcosms that surround him, all of which he captures lovingly through his camera lens.

Juan's photography is a powerful means of expression, allowing him to communicate his unique perspective without relying on words. He hopes his work will inspire others to connect with his vision.

Juan discovered his passion for photography shortly after moving to America, when he enrolled in a course on black and white film. After studying commercial photography in Miami, his path as a wedding photographer began to emerge when he accepted a position as a photographer's assistant.

Juan seeks out travel experiences that expose him to new cultures; he particularly enjoys the vibrancy of colors, textures, and a touch of chaos.

Weddings are a special source of inspiration and joy for Juan. He relishes the opportunity to capture intimate moments that might otherwise be overlooked—the bride's pre-ceremony jitters, a father's proud gaze, a couple's contented smiles.
