After a brief conversation, Jorge furnished us with a quote which he later confirmed after he visited the site. During the course of the project, we had to make some changes on the go to ensure that it turned out perfectly and as a result, we agreed to a new rate. Although we encountered a minor snag with the final product - the crawlspace door opening was too small by an inch - we figured out a solution. After Jorge installed the door, he returned to fill and tuck point under the sill to ensure a solid foundation. We're so impressed with his work that we've hired him to rectify the botched job of a previous mason as well as a host of other tasks.

In my search for someone to repair the broken and cracked mortar joints in my firebox, I received some overly-priced quotes from a few providers. However, after sending Jorge some pictures, he quickly responded with a fair offer to remove the old mortar and replace it with new material. He also took care of an old ash dump hole that was previously filled from the exterior. The result was fantastic, my firebox now looks as good as new. I absolutely recommend hiring Jorge Hernandez for any masonry work you may require.
