Hello there! I am Harvey (pronouns: they/them) previously known as Ellyn. Since 2015, I have been walking dogs and in 2018, I established Best Buddy Dog Walks in San Francisco. When I moved to East Bay in 2021, I sold the company and am now excited to announce that I am accepting new furry friends under the name Harvey's Hounds!

When entrusting your beloved pet to someone, you need an expert who knows precisely what they are doing. Someone with ample experience, and insurance coverage you can trust to be punctual, responsible, and above all, love your dog with all their heart, providing a fulfilling experience every day!

I strongly stand behind positive reinforcement training, continuously staying updated with the latest, kindest reinforcement techniques. Furthermore, I am open to reinforcing your pet's skills as taught at home.

Seeing friendships progress between dogs and witnessing secure relationships forming between pups is my absolute pleasure, as it allows them to grow and blossom into their true selves, just like us humans!

Working with me will enable you to feel confident that your furry pal is living their best life! Furthermore, I will keep you connected with your pet while they're away by posting adorable pics to make you feel at ease.

When we resided in San Francisco, our beloved pooch, Olive, was one of the members of Harvey's dog walking squad, which turned out to be a delightful adventure. Olive would return home content and exhausted following the group outings, and we loved perusing photos uploaded from their day out. These pack walks proved to be ideal as we sought to expose Olive to other canines, both on- and off-leash. We were fully assured of Olive's welfare under Harvey's watchful eye, who made certain that our furry friend was well attended to, refreshed, and entertained throughout. Need we mention that if we happened to reside in the East Bay, we would have no second thoughts about enlisting Olive back in Harvey's Hounds? Highly recommended!

Harvey is adored by our dog!!! Caring for him exceptionally well, Harvey is the highlight of our pooch's day. He receives plenty of exercise, enjoys great fun, socializes and comes home feeling ecstatic. For many years, Harvey has taken Bear on exciting adventures and we have complete faith in their ability to provide safety and happiness for our furry friend.

Harvey was incredible when he took our dog on pack walks in San Francisco! Our normally fearful pup was met with patience and excellent handling from Harvey, who proved to be particularly skilled with all of the dogs. Ellie would go out with Harvey once a week, but we would often spot them on other days as well. He was always attentive and affectionate with the canines. I would recommend Harvey to anyone without hesitation. Whoever has him care for their dog will be quite lucky indeed!
