COVID INFORMATION: I have been fully vaccinated and boosted. If needed, I am willing to wear a mask during lessons. Students and parents can also opt to wear masks, but it is not required.

I work with children and adults who are eight years old and above. A note to parents: I typically do not accept students under the age of eight unless they have studied piano or another instrument for at least a year, preferably two. If your child is under fifteen years old, you must be present during all lessons.

PRICING:
If you come to my studio, half-hour lessons are priced at $25/lesson and $100/month for four lessons. One-hour lessons cost $45/lesson and $170/month for four lessons.
I am currently not accepting new online students who wish to use FaceTime/Skype.

LESSON POLICY:
It is important to understand my expectations as a teacher to ensure that the lessons are both enjoyable and productive. These policies are common among private music instructors and help students maintain consistent progress.


FEE & PAYMENTS:
I follow a tuition-based payment policy. Payment must be made at the first lesson of each month or at the latest, by the 7th. The payment for each month is non-transferable and non-refundable if the student discontinues lessons before the end of the month. If you plan to be away from lessons for an entire month, I charge half of the usual payment to ensure you reserve your spot. If you cannot attend a lesson for avoidable reasons, such as bad weather or other circumstances, no credit or makeup lesson is available. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please do so as soon as possible to allow enough time.

TIME CONSIDERATIONS:
Each student will receive four half-hour or one-hour lessons each month from the first to the 28th day of the month. For months with five lesson days, I usually hold makeup lessons on the last couple of days of the month. I aim to ensure that all lessons are at least 25-minutes long, but students typically receive more time. Sometimes, lessons may last up to 35 minutes or more depending on the circumstances. Instead of focusing on minutes, I strive to provide information suitable for each student's age and skill level to help them grow as musicians.

ILLNESS:
Please stay at home if you are unwell to avoid spreading diseases or illnesses. If I am the one who is sick, I will inform you and reschedule the lesson at a different time that suits both of us.

PRACTICING:
I do not have a cookie-cutter approach to teaching since every student is unique. However, consistent practice is necessary to make progress. Serious practice for at least half an hour, five days a week, is recommended for the best results. It is recommended that students practice as soon as possible after the lesson to help retain the knowledge better.
