I offer my services strictly online through Skype or Zoom. I am a multi-instrumentalist musician and professional teacher who resides near Los Angeles, California. My specialties include beginner to advanced guitar, beginner to late intermediate piano, bass, ukulele, and mandolin.

With over 25 years of experience playing guitar, 20 years on piano, and 10 years on ukulele, bass, and mandolin, I hold my music degree from California State Fullerton University in Fullerton, CA. A Gretsch Guitar Company endorsee, I have opened shows and played alongside legends like Prince, Chuck Berry, Joe Strummer of The Clash, Reverend Horton Heat, and Dwight Yoakum.

My expertise is in blues guitar, but I'm also knowledgeable in pop piano, mixing in jazz, blues, and classical music. Additionally, I'm well-versed in various genres such as blues, rock, pop, alternative, rockabilly, folk, a bit of jazz, country, and bluegrass.

As a patient teacher, my lessons are tailored to the needs and goals of the student. Whether it's soloing/improvising, music theory, reading sheet music, or simply learning a favorite tune, I'll help you achieve your aspirations in the quickest and easiest way possible.

For beginners, I'll assist you in becoming acquainted with your instrument, learning basic chords and music theory, starting scales, and if you choose, how to read sheet music. I'll teach you efficient methods to practice and tricks to speed up your progress. By the second lesson, you'll be playing your favorite songs.

For intermediate pupils, we'll delve into more intricate chord shapes, deeper music theory, arpeggios, and improvisation skills. I'll educate you on chord inversions and help you learn more challenging songs of your choice.

Advanced students can expect voice leading, advanced chord shapes and scales, honing improvisation and phrasing skills, and mastering complicated songs.
