My name is Tim Marco and I am an artist, session musician, and guitar teacher hailing from the Bay Area, CA. I offer private guitar and ukulele lessons in-person at my studio in Oakland, CA, and online via Zoom.
My education includes studies in guitar performance and music theory at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and I have been teaching and playing professionally for over twelve years.
My greatest satisfaction comes from showing my students the techniques and tricks that make them sound their best. I am happy to work with students of all ages, skill levels, and musical styles. I believe it is essential to equip students with the tools they need to continue learning on their own, especially given the abundance of guitar lessons available online with little direction or guidance.
For intermediate/advanced students, I specialize in Rock, R&B, Funk, Blues, neo-soul, and Jazz, ensuring a detailed exploration of these styles. My guitar lessons are tailored to be both involved and enjoyable, adding vigor to your music!
