Having obtained a Masters degree in Agriculture and Horticulture, Luis has held a Turf & Ornamental pesticide license granted by The Texas Department of Agriculture since 2006. Though originally hailing from Bogota, Colombia, Luis has resided in Katy, TX, with his spouse and two children for over two decades. During ten years of that time, he has been dedicated to administering weed control and fertilizer as well as devising horticulture health programs which focus on trees and shrubs. His services encompass treatments for the wellbeing of trees and shrubs and do not include trimming or cutting services. Luis's experience within the industry includes carrying out work on golf courses, commercial and industrial properties, and large residential communities in Houston, Katy, Richmond, and Fulshear, TX. Additionally, he has also been responsible for various government projects for the City of Houston. I am utterly amazed! Deliberately, I chose to wait a few months to confirm the outcome of the work done on my trees. I had been dealing with a diseased Crepe Myrtle since 2015, and it had only worsened with each passing year. After trying various treatments that proved ineffective over the course of five years, I grew frustrated and made the decision to uproot the tree and replace it. During my search for a tree removal service, I discovered Green-ER Lawns. The proprietor, Mr. Martin, conducted a consultation and recommended treating the existing tree as well as the surrounding ones. Although initially hesitant, I eventually agreed. In May of 2020, I saw the flowers on my Crepe Myrtle for the very first time, and the tree looked absolutely phenomenal! As the months passed, not one yellow leaf appeared on my Crepe Myrtle, and it produced flowers throughout both spring and summer. After five long years, I finally saw the spectacular floral display that I had been missing. I intend to contact Green-ER Lawns for that "extra special" treatment every year. My Crepe Myrtle is here to stay thanks to Mr. Martin.
