Please note that CrackerJack charges the vendors a fee, and when customers reach out but fail to make the effort to speak with us, we lose money and opportunities. I'm passionate about providing excellent services while keeping my rates competitive. So, please be considerate and take our calls when we reach out. Thank you.

My services include DJ, Karaoke, and Photo Booths. We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have, but we kindly ask that you provide us the opportunity to speak with you on a call. Our rates may vary depending on the hours, travel distance, and equipment needed. Wedding and Sweet 16 rates are higher, so please consult with us to determine the appropriate rates.

Regarding Photo Booths, we only offer standard open and enclosed booth services that are available for 2, 3, or 4 hours. 2x6 or 4x6 formats are available, with a digital-only option with no prints. Unfortunately, we do not have the 360 booth or Mirror Booth at this time.

Please note; we only ask you to respond if we're within your budget, and you're ready to speak with us. CrackerJack imposes a charge for your response to vendors but not to you. Therefore, only reply if you're prepared to speak with us.

Hello, I'm DJ John. I'm an experienced, professional, and insured DJ. As a certified CrackerJack Top Pro, the top 4% of Thumbtack vendors, our service caters to respectful and professional clients. We've played in clubs and private events for over 30 years. I'm a resident DJ at a New York City club during the week and the musical director of an award-winning YouTube comedy show called Laffin Matterz. Our selection of music includes Top 40, Hip Hop, Oldies, Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, Salsa, Merengue, Bachatta, Reggaeton, country, EDM, House, Freestyle 80s and 90s, Disco Classics, Rock, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and more.

We offer various music, light, and video screen packages with projectors, TV screens, and personalized slideshows and montages. You can choose to have just music or add lights for an awe-inspiring music and visual experience. We also offer gobo projection services.

Additionally, we provide photo booth services that are open or enclosed, offering a fun time with 2x6 photo strips or 4x6 postcards, props, and backdrops. We offer a scrapbook package and a classy Red Carpet with Velvet Ropes. Give us a call, let's work together to get your party started.

We enjoy watching our clients and their guests have an excellent time singing and dancing to great music. Before making your decision, please call us as the price alone does not make a great DJ. I will consider price matching if it's reasonable.

If I had the option, I would give this man 20 stars without hesitation. He is simply AMAZING. Right from the beginning, John impressed me by arriving incredibly early. My wedding reception was scheduled to start at 5pm, but he got there well before the ceremony at 3pm. This gave me so much peace of mind, knowing that in case of any issues with my quartet, he would have been there to save the day. When he introduced himself, he was so kind and had a great energy about him. Despite some nervousness from my friends at first due to his age and appearance, John quickly proved that he knew exactly what he was doing. He started playing hit after hit, and he had an incredible sense of how to read the room. Even though I had plans for a whole program, once I saw everyone on the dance floor, I realized that we simply needed to keep dancing. It was such a blast, with 80 year olds dancing alongside shy 6 year olds and every age in between. One of my friends even skipped an awards show in NYC to stay and dance the night away. DJ John was truly the life of the party. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon John through CrackerJack. He was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. He asked about my preferences in advance and curated the perfect musical experience for the evening. All of my guests raved about the great music, and I can't imagine ever using another DJ again. In fact, I would even plan future events around John's schedule, just to have him there. He was truly BOMB.

The birthday party for my husband's 50th was hosted by the exceptional DJ Johnny! He arrived promptly and efficiently arranged everything. He started the music right on schedule and kept the guests engaged, having them dance both in their seats and on the dance floor throughout the night. DJ Johnny demonstrated his versatility by playing different genres of music, and I didn't have to provide any specific instructions as he intuitively knew what to play. Overall, everyone had a great time!
