During our Basement remodel project, James was a valuable asset to our team. We found him incredibly knowledgeable when it came to generating ideas for the space, as well as professional in his execution of the work. For a straightforward and practical contractor, look no further than James. From the beginning, James was professional and took precise measurements to provide an accurate quote. I enlisted James and his crew for a complete remodel of my outdated master bathroom (check out the before photos!) and powder room, as well as minor upgrades to my other two bathrooms and kitchen backsplash. Not only was the work finished on schedule, but there were no unexpected costs. Communication with James was excellent, with text responses within the hour, although I preferred in-person or phone communication. Any complications I came across were quickly resolved to my satisfaction, and James was extremely helpful at clarifying potential complications from the outset. For instance, I wanted to preserve the original mirror in my master bathroom, but the new vanity would overlap. James ingeniously cut the mirror to make it fit seamlessly. To be transparent, I must mention the few issues that arose during the project. In the basement bathroom, new holes were left in the wall after the old vanity was removed. Though James was forthright in acknowledging this oversight, the new vanity obstructed much of the repair work. Despite the disappointment of not having this issue entirely resolved, I appreciated James’s honesty and commitment to fixing what was possible. A few recommendations if you choose James: 1. Respect goes a long way with James. He shows his respect for your home and vision and expects the same in return. 2. Ensure that everything agreed upon verbally is included in the contract. James has many projects going on at the same time, and some details may slip his memory. 3. Regularly visit the work site to confirm satisfaction with the progress. James is happy to address any issues as soon as they are brought to his attention. In conclusion, I am thrilled with the result of James’s work. My master bathroom now feels like an upscale hotel suite, and my powder room receives compliments from every guest who uses it. Unfortunately, an unforeseen circumstance prevented me from proceeding with our planned project, but I want to make it clear that James was not at fault. In fact, he went above and beyond by coming over to offer a detailed breakdown of the work, providing numerous cost-saving ideas and even suggesting specific measurements and stores to shop at. Additionally, when my HOA rejected the idea of having a dumpster outside, James creatively brainstormed alternative solutions. He maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the process and was always available to assist. Ultimately, James was able to start the project right away, which was our original goal.

Throughout the process, James was an extremely helpful contractor. We collaborated with him and other contractors to go through three different designs, and he consistently stayed in touch. James, as well as his workers, was highly courteous, patient and professional. Additionally, his workers were very skilled in all aspects of construction and took great care to cordon off the work area to minimize dust. When we were unsure about certain details, James had insightful suggestions on how to execute them. He was quick to resolve any questions or issues, typically in person. Thanks to his and his team's hard work, the end result was a stunning new bathroom. We are so pleased with James' work that we have happily recommended him to our closest friends.
