My area of expertise lies in guiding students through rigorous tests such as the SAT I and II German, AP German, and the German language admission exam for universities in Germany. I have a proven track record of teaching German to a diverse range of students - from traditional classroom settings to online learning, and across different grade levels. As a patient instructor, I tailor my lesson plans to the unique needs of each student.

Having spent two decades teaching English in Germany, I have also co-authored textbooks for the English language classroom. Since moving to the US, I have found enjoyment in teaching German to students of all levels - from elementary school children to adults seeking language proficiency for personal or professional reasons.

In addition, I have designed curricula for German language programs in both public and private schools while also publishing literature-related articles. With my academic background - an MA in German and English, and a Ph.D. in education - I provide a solid foundation for students to excel in their language studies.

Whether teaching in Germany or in the US, I have had the privilege of instructing students of all ages - from as young as 8 to as old as 78, in both German and English.
