For more than three decades, I have been a dog owner and trainer. Driven by my love for dog training and aiding both dogs and their owners, I founded Gelert K-9. Our specialized training approach, Foundation Style Dog Training, involves first familiarizing ourselves with fundamental canine behaviors - body language, pack behaviors, and specific breed traits. We will then leverage this foundation to enhance human-dog relations. You will comprehend the reason behind your dog's actions and master the safe and humane correction of negative behaviors, while reinforcing favorable deeds, allowing for a better understanding and coexistence between you and your dog.

With his expertise and professionalism, Scott assisted me in learning how to handle my reactive puppy. He made sure that my puppy felt at ease and relaxed, and after only half of a training session, I could already witness progress in her behavior when interacting with other dogs. In roughly five minutes, to my amazement, the trainer managed to teach my dog Angel (who also goes by the name of the she devil) to sit and lie down. Additionally, he recommended several training aids that would benefit Angel's progress. The results left me extremely satisfied.
