Accompanied by my wheelchair-bound mom who also suffers from Alzheimer's, I often attend Advance Screenings - an activity she truly enjoys. At these events, Gator Guards offer their security services. However, I have noticed a disturbing trend of non-handicapped attendees usurping the handicapped seating area. One evening, Joey - a particularly compassionate and observant guard - noticed and went above and beyond to secure seating for us. Since that night, whenever Joey is working, he ensures that we are seated first. On one occasion outside of work, he even offered us his own seat. I am immensely grateful for his service and hope that Gator Guards continue to excel in their work.
