My passion is tennis and I would love to offer you lessons! With over 40 years of experience playing tennis, I have been a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for 30+ years and have even made it to the USTA National level playoffs five times.
Currently, I am the Head Tennis Coach for both boy’s and girl’s teams at an east bay high school. During the summers, I also organize a tennis camp for students in the 4th-8th grade. Additionally, I am a Certified Professional of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), which involves rigorous testing of applicants' knowledge of tennis, coaching ability, and playing skills.
I provide tennis lessons to people of all ages and abilities, from novice to tournament-level players. My lessons focus on teaching proper stroke mechanics, footwork, strategy, and ensuring a fun and positive environment.

Gary is a USTPA certified tennis coach who trains both boys and girls at a local high school in the Bay Area. He is currently providing my daughter with tennis lessons, and his performance has been exceptional thus far. He has a definitive plan in mind regarding what he aims for his students to acquire, but is also open to some adaptability in his overall approach. Gary is presently zeroing in on correcting my daughter's backstroke by making it shorter whenever she's readying herself for either a forehand or backhand shot. He provided my daughter with two choices: focusing more on strategy while maintaining her current stroke fundamentals or enhancing and modifying both strokes' mechanics. She chose to improve her techniques, and that's what they're working on currently. In my opinion, I highly recommend Gary's services.
