Since 2005, I have been a private French tutor with ten years of prior K-12 certified teaching experience. My specialties include all high school levels, from 1-AP, as well as younger students and adults from various backgrounds at any proficiency level.
In 2011, I received a Fulbright through The Classroom Teacher Exchange Program from the United States Department of State. I have extensive experience living, working, and traveling in Southern France, where I have taught and trained students of all ages and backgrounds.
My lessons combine American and European methodologies, helping learners strengthen their listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills while participating in online activities to enhance language acquisition. Progress is evaluated during each session, and supplemental activities provided for added practice.

Guy is a remarkable instructor and mentor whose lessons are tailor-made to meet the specific needs of each student. I highly endorse him as an ideal choice for adult language learners who require structured learning. Given that structure is crucial to mastering a foreign language as an adult, he has a plethora of resources at his disposal to help you gain fluency. Personally, when I began French lessons with him, I had not studied the language for years and had only completed the first year of French studies, leaving me quite rusty. Upon approaching Guy, my understanding of French was very basic, rooted in my high school experiences many decades ago.
