Following my initial review, the owner of Foothills Painting, Ben, reached out to me. Originally, I had little hope that Foothills Painting could rectify the situation. As we had already settled into the house, and with my wife being pregnant, we were unable to make any further changes to the subpar paint job. However, Ben was sincere in his efforts to resolve the issue, and following a discussion about what had gone wrong, he proposed a partial refund of the initial job to bring the cost down, as well as another job at cost, where he would personally oversee the work to ensure it was done correctly. While I had only anticipated receiving a partial refund, I was impressed by the steps Ben was willing to take to rectify past mistakes. I am confident that, with his active supervision, my next job with Foothills will be done exceptionally well, especially as I recognize that my experience was an anomaly in comparison to the company's other positive reviews. I appreciate Ben's willingness to go above and beyond to make things right, even when I had not expected or allowed much leeway. As such, I fully intend to use Foothills for my upcoming project, and I am confident that it will meet my expectations.

We decided to choose Foothills over other painting companies because they were the sole ones to propose employing a carpenter to substitute and mend the worn-out trim boards and siding prior to painting. Even with additional expenses, their cost estimates were still more affordable than some competitors who merely intended to conceal the damaged wood and siding under paint. The managers maintained open communication throughout the process, the provided paint samples accurately matched the desired color, and the painting crew was courteous, punctual, and hardworking. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
