Flawless Interior Design

The initial task I assigned to Javier was renovating my mother's kitchen in Palm Beach. The cabinets, drawers, and appliance covers were all French yellow, and we decided to give them a bright white makeover. Javier proposed hand painting them all with an alkaline water-based paint of high quality. He began the project by sanding down any blemishes, skillfully patched the damaged areas, and then primed the yellow paint before applying two coats of white paint. The outcome was superb! The kitchen now feels refreshed and modernized, and with the doors, windows, and trim painted alike, it was an affordable solution instead of a total overhaul. Javier, along with his assistant, carried out the task flawlessly, paying meticulous attention to every detail, while being polite and courteous. Once the job was done, he diligently cleared up everything and even helped Mama set up delicate dishes, prints, mirrors, and accessories. My first collaboration with Javier began in January 2022. He has since completed multiple projects at my mother's residence in Florida. I plan to publish additional reviews, and here is one of his recent March 2022 accomplishments. His work on a faux finish was labor-intensive but yielded a magnificent result. The front entry hallway, staircase, and sitting room were previously wallpapered with aged and damaged material. Javier meticulously removed it, utilizing a hand-sprayed wash so that no harm was caused to the delicate walls. Next, he mended any blemishes before adding a base coat and finally completing it with a hand-applied glaze for the top coat. He brought two cases of acrylic paint tubes and tested out multiple blends with a neutral base until we discovered a color close to the original wallpaper, which was our ultimate objective. This demonstrated Javier's prowess as a painter and artist since he utilized his knowledge of color mixing instead of relying on store paint chips. Javier’s zeal for the outcome was evident, and the finished result and newly updated trim surpassed all expectations.
