When my ceiling suffered a giant hole from a water leak, I requested repair work which resulted in an 8 foot by 10 foot area of ceiling needing repair. Although I attempted the demolition myself, due to my open-concept home and visible ceiling, I wanted a perfect repair. That's when Fernando came to the rescue. Fernando was an exceptional worker, prioritising tidiness and responding immediately to my work request on CrackerJack. He went above and beyond by working on a weekend to cater to my schedule constraints. Upon arrival, he contained the dust and debris by setting up plastic sheeting and utilising drop cloths to protect my flooring. He was meticulous in his work, purchasing enough materials and measuring every step of the repair process. Not only was he knowledgeable in his craft, but he also explained everything he did to ensure a satisfactory repair. Furthermore, he discovered additional parts of the ceiling that had been previously repaired but were breaking down and took the initiative to repair those too. Fernando was equally respectful towards my home, completing his cutting in the driveway and informing me when he was to make any noise. He would even turn around to gently close the front door when entering with armloads of supplies. The best part? Fernando’s pricing was $400-$500 less than nine other local companies who priced the job for drywall repair alone. Additionally, Fernando's estimate included painting whereas many other contractors estimated it separately. In conclusion, Fernando's work was outstanding, and his respectful work ethic and pricing made him a pleasure to hire. I would recommend him without hesitation. Great job! I contracted Fernando to plaster my ceiling after removing the popcorn. He rectified the mess I created prior to plastering both the ceiling and walls. During the project, I requested additional work, and he problem-solved to even out a previously uneven wall, all without any complaints. He cleared up every night and consistently displayed politeness throughout. I have more projects in the pipeline, and I'll be calling on Fernando for sure!
