Fiddle Lessons with Celeste Johnson

I am currently taking fiddle lessons with Celeste, who, in my opinion, is the greatest instructor I have ever had. Her teaching style is calming and her lessons are enjoyable, productive, and never dull. The method she uses to teach is incredibly effective as it does not cause any stress or frustration. I highly recommend her to both novice and experienced musicians. Celeste is an exceptional teacher and person, and interacting with her, both as an adult and a child, has been a pleasure. Her teaching technique is quick, amusing, and enjoyable. It's wonderful to have a teacher of her caliber in our locality.

For half of my son's life, Celeste has been his teacher since he was 6 years old, after trying out six other teachers beforehand. The process of finding the right fit is arduous, but we have found that Celeste is the perfect match. Even at almost 13, he is still eager to work with her every week. Celeste has developed his creativity and taught him to be a well-rounded, independent learner. We are impressed by her kindness, patience, and knowledge in fiddle music from a lifetime of experience. She challenges my son and helps build his confidence in fulfilling his full potential as a musician. We are grateful to have found such an amazing teacher who we have committed to working with well into her 90s!
