On a Thursday, I resolved to install a split rail fence but encountered problems while using the auger due to hitting stones or hard clay. Moreover, the auger was limited in depth which created a time-sensitive situation as I needed to erect the fence before Monday. Thankfully, Fence Union responded swiftly and visited the site on the following day to dig the holes. While they were digging, I was assembling the fence in the hope of completing the process before they departed, but there were difficulties with the hole width which required troubleshooting. Towards the end of the installation, I faced issues with the post hole distance which prevented the rails from fitting properly and making the post upright. Although I reached out to Fence Union, I did not receive any response but was able to devise a solution to the problem.
