The project progressed without any updates, and a delivery of lumber arrived unexpectedly. I contacted the office to learn that the project had been rescheduled for two weeks earlier, unbeknownst to me. I couldn't be home for the rescheduled date, which was problematic. The office manager was unkind when I informed her of the issue caused by the unannounced change in the project date. Regardless, the fencing work turned out to be lovely, and the builders were polite and quick to work. Considering my dealings with Kent and the pricing for the quality of the fence, I would hire them again. Though, I hope that the poor communication I encountered was a singular problem, given their good reviews.

On December 4th, I received an estimate and start date of December 24th to have an aluminum fence installed. I needed the fence urgently, so I cancelled my holiday trip with family. The estimator, K. Poulos, was professional and the initial appointment went well. I paid half of the total cost after the meeting. However, after that, everything was disappointing. The lack of communication was the most concerning issue. Firstly, I was not informed of separate deliveries of fencing and cement mix on December 22nd. Secondly, the installation dates were changed from the 24th to the 26th. I waited for over an hour on the 26th before calling to find out that the installer was sick. He rescheduled the installation for the 30th. Thirdly, when the installer was completing the fence, his helper packed up the remaining cement mix. I thought I had paid for it and was taken aback when I was told that I had not. Moreover, extra fence parts were left in my driveway and street. Although I am pleased with the fence, if I ever use this company again, I would need better communication and a different installer.
