In the aftermath of the Marshall Fire in Louisville at the close of 2021, our home was lost. Fortunately, the F9 team stepped in and created a design for a new dwelling to rebuild on our now-empty lot. They were customer-oriented and attentive to our needs, resulting in a house that we're thrilled to inhabit. One aspect that stands out about F9 is that they approach their work as a product rather than a service business. If you appreciate their aesthetic and are content to let them take over the project, they are an excellent fit. However, if you seek an hourly 'services' style architect to accommodate a considerable amount of communication, it may be preferable to explore other options.

F9 was contracted by us to construct a secondary downstairs bedroom. Our experience with their services was commendable, and we highly endorse their contracting prowess to others. F9's team displayed a conscientious attitude towards the job they took on, adapted their work accordingly to our preferences, and were highly responsive in all forms of communication - all at a reasonable cost. We trusted them entirely, and the fact that they were amiable guys made the whole process stress-free for us, especially with kids and pets.

Lance and Alex were an awesome team to collaborate with. They were exceptionally polite and diligent in providing us with the necessary details while creating our mountain home design. With a multitude of queries, they had all the answers covered. Specifically, they paid heed to our requirements and offered suggestions when we were indecisive. The service was outstanding. Last summer, we engaged F9 to draft and engineer the complete set of stamped plans for our new cabin in Cripple Creek, CO. As first-time employers of an architect, we were apprehensive and uncertain about what to expect. Nevertheless, Lance, Alex and their team were professional, collaborative and accommodating throughout the process. Their fees were reasonable and the entire project proceeded remarkably fast, despite the iterative nature of designing a fully customized home. The team was cognizant that we would be constructing the residence ourselves and that there were financial constraints involved. Our site was woody, sloping, rocky and presented other challenges, however, the team responded to these challenges effortlessly. In our experience, the services of a competent architect should not only meet your design needs but also be cost-effective. Lance and Alex helped us find opportunities to save funds while still meeting our requirements. During the project, we communicated regularly via Zoom meetings, phone calls and email, with the team being responsive and insightful.
