Description:

Teaching has been my profession since 2005 and it's a passion that I take seriously. I have the ability to teach students of all ages - from the youngest at seven to those in their seventies. My goal is to help others discover the joy of music and I prioritize teaching what they want to learn above what I want to teach them. I'm proficient in teaching all styles, except Classical, and also offer lessons in the bass and ukulele.

Lessons are now available online via a specially designed platform called Muzie.live or through FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom. I offer a free first lesson so that students can evaluate if my teaching style suits them. If they are comfortable, we can continue weekly or monthly without any long-term contracts.

Interacting and sharing information with my students is something I always look forward to. As a teacher, I believe that learning should be fun, and I'm excited to learn with my students. Being a teacher is a privilege, and it's one that I treasure.

Robert has been giving guitar lessons to my daughter, who is now 12, for almost four years. He is an excellent instructor who is extremely patient and accommodates changes in scheduling very well. He has taught her a lot, and we highly recommend him for guitar lessons.

Robert has been teaching my son guitar since he was 8, and his progress has been remarkable thanks to Robert's support. My son is free to choose any song to learn, and Robert will help him with the notes, vocals and performing during their lessons. My son has even added extra lessons thanks to his improvement! Plus, Robert is flexible and adapts to changing schedules. During Covid, he easily adapted to teaching online, and we highly recommend Excellent Guitar Lessons.

Prior to enrolling in lessons with Robert, my only musical experience consisted of playing the recorder during my third grade year. Moreover, I commenced guitar lessons after turning 40 years old. At the outset, distinguishing between an extension cord and a power chord proved to be challenging for me. However, I quickly gained proficiency in strumming basic chords and creating music that my family could enthusiastically sing along with. My musical preferences are broad-ranging and varied, and Robert has commendably taught me songs by John Mellencamp, Jason Isbell, The Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Billy Idol, and even Guns n Roses. Whenever I struggle with a complicated musical passage, Robert is readily available to simplify it for me and educate me on music theory to better comprehend the composition of a song. Participating in guitar lessons is an excellent way for me to unwind and escape from work-related stresses. I am pleased to recommend Excellent Guitar Lessons without reservation.

Rob is providing online lessons to my child and we are extremely satisfied with our experience. He exhibits utmost patience, provides a pleasurable learning experience, and maintains a positive energy throughout their sessions. Initially, I had reservations about virtual learning, however, it has turned out to be perfect. Even my dog appears to be in our living room (as she barks once she hears Rob's voice commence the lesson, ha!) and we relish the comfort of not having to step outside. I strongly suggest you try his classes for yourself or your children.
