In 2000, my mother arrived in the United States and began working as a housecleaner. Despite not being able to speak English, her strong work ethic earned her many clients. However, when I arrived in the US, I made it a goal to learn English so that I could better communicate with clients. I earned my high school diploma and am currently still taking English courses in college. Through my studies, I am now able to communicate with clients and understand their needs. Throughout my high school years, I worked alongside my mother part-time. After graduation, I started my own cleaning company that offers deep cleaning, move-in/move out cleaning, and regular cleaning services on a flexible schedule.
