Welcome!

After spending three years traveling the globe (six continents), I now reside in Davis with my family. As a desert native originally from Coachella, California, feel free to inquire about my white wolf incident from the high Canadian Arctic, my years working as a counterterrorism intelligence officer in Washington DC, or my book of poetry. Having crossed part of the South Pacific in a motorboat, I am an avid backpacker and wildlife observer who can mix an exceptional gin martini. Additionally, I hold an MA from Middlebury, a BA from Bennington, and an Arts Diploma from the Idyllwild Arts Academy.

One of the most incredible experiences I have ever had as a parent was watching the full moon rise over the desert, listening to the coyotes with my children. It's all about having wilderness in your heart, so be at ease.

Funny, brave, hungry, and curious about EVERYTHING are just a few of the words that describe me.

My area of expertise is producing dynamic, active photographs that capture the essence of the subject. I enjoy the challenge and thrill of capturing action-filled shots.

For weddings, family shoots, newborns, grad pictures, UC Davis events, headshots, and corporate + charity events from Sacramento to the Bay, I am a portrait expert.
