Hi, I'm Asha, and I'm a licensed bodyworker, aquatic therapist, and somatics practitioner with a studio based in Oakland. My bodywork style involves merging orthopedic deep tissue, shiatsu, myofascial cupping, and structural integration. I incorporate Neurokinetic therapy into my sessions to intentionally and strategically address areas of concern. My sessions are centered around meeting my client's body where it currently is and continually assessing throughout the process. I pride myself on being a deep listener and allowing the client's needs to guide our time together.

Additionally, I specialize in aquatic bodywork, having expertise in Aguahara and Liquid Presence techniques that are effective both on the surface and underwater. These sessions provide an opportunity for weightless compressions and releases that are not only deeply relaxing but also transformative and emotionally cathartic, making them a great choice for rehabilitation.

In my twenty or so years of receiving deep tissue and sports massages, Asha's massage is among the top. It was thorough and went deep into my muscles. The day before my appointment with Asha, I had completed a half marathon and shared with him the issues, pains, and tightness I had experienced during the run, as well as the recent numbness in my arms. Asha focused on key points in my arms, back, and legs, taking his time with each. Unlike the relaxing massages that put you to sleep, I had to stay engaged throughout the session. The next day, I felt better, and within two days, I was running again. If you're looking for the best massage or simply want one, Asha is a great choice.
