As a retired Army veteran, I have been with DOD since 1975 in Maryland for over 21 years. My passion for the outdoors leads me to walk and e-bike daily on the Columbia/Kings Contrivance trails (weather permitting). Additionally, I offer my services for dog sitting and walking, house sitting, and have experience with various animals including horses/ponies, chickens, rabbits, chinchillas, ducks, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and tractors.

Although not advertising myself as a dog trainer, I have experience with basic commands such as sit, stay, down, off, come/here, heal, leave it, drop, no/naught, break, and fetch based on my admiration for Cesar Millan “The Dog Whisperer”. During the interview process for dogs, I will discern their temperament and current response/training level by walking them. Prior to joining the Army, I had experience with on and off-leash training on our ranch, mostly with Great Danes & Collies, horses, and ponies. Recently, I have handled several breeds such as Yorkie, Shi-Tzu, Labradoodle, Boxer, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, German Shepard, among others.

With an extended cab 4WD Nissan Frontier pickup truck with an enclosed "camper shell," I can transport larger dogs, goats, sheep, smaller pigs, fowl, etc. (our smaller dogs loved to sleep on the back seats). As for quotes, I will not provide one for all circumstances, but I would expect you to consider mileage and time, among others. Lastly, I have had five current shots and a flu shot to ensure safety regarding COVID-19.
