Ruben and his crew were employed for our backyard project. They have done an incredible job throughout the entire process. After obtaining several quotes, Ruben provided us with the most affordable price to implement a sprinkler system and install new sod. The transformation of our back/side yards exceeded our expectations. Ruben's efficiency and dedication in completing tasks such as installing a retaining wall, leveling the dirt, border, weed barrier, sprinklers, sod, and planting our chosen shrubs and trees were remarkable. He went above and beyond by bringing truckloads of topsoil and rocks to enhance the beauty of each area, and he made sure to do everything correctly. Although it took some time to schedule the job due to his busy schedule (typical for landscaping companies), Ruben showed up fully equipped and with the necessary skills to complete the task in just two weeks. He worked long hours and ensured that we were satisfied with every step. We were impressed by the end result, and the project's cost was more than reasonable, if not lower than the competitors. Ruben and his team have done a phenomenal job! Although the project is not yet complete, all the finishing touches are expected to be added tomorrow. Ruben has been a pleasure to work alongside and his rates are unbeatable! We received quotes from CrackerJack and independent contractors for the entire backyard and some front work that involved excavating, grading, laying a block retaining wall and stairs, constructing concrete curbing, and installing a sprinkler system and drip irrigation for flower beds and a garden area. Other additions included garden boxes, sod, gravel fill, topsoil, and burying of drain lines. For the same services, Ruben's bid was significantly less than the other contractors', some of which were almost double. Ruben began work as soon as the snow melted, working between each snowstorm throughout February. He made significant progress in March once the weather improved. His quality of work was superb, and he was accommodating with any modifications or additions I proposed. I wholeheartedly recommend Ruben for all your landscaping needs and won't hesitate to contact him for future projects.
