My name is Scott and I offer English as a second language (ESL) tutoring on Zoom, Google Meet, Discord or Facebook Messenger. Whether you need help with pronunciation, grammar, expressions, vocabulary, writing essays, reports or correspondence, I've got you covered.
As a native English speaker with a linguistics degree from the University of California at Davis and experience teaching ESL at a foreign university, my expertise extends far beyond just English. With fluency in Russian and German, and additional language studies in Spanish, Malay and Italian, I'm well-equipped to help you on your language-learning journey.
In addition, my experience as a professional translator means that I place a strong emphasis on strong written English, an important component of any language.
My knowledge of phonetics, morphology, syntax and other aspects of grammar give me a unique perspective and insight to provide truly useful and effective tutorials. Teaching English is one of my passions, and nothing makes me happier than seeing my students making progress.
