En Casa Studios and Lessons is run by my husband and me, and our mission is to help individuals express themselves through music. I specialize in teaching the essential tools, techniques, and theory that bring improvisation, songwriting, and performing to life. Meanwhile, my husband is responsible for recording and producing artists who are ready to take their music to the next level.
When performing on my own, I typically play acoustic music, accompanying my voice with a piano or guitar. I have three original albums that can be found on iTunes under the name Lilia Griffin, and I also enjoy performing covers and requests for special events. In addition, my husband and I share a passion for Latin Jazz and funk, and we perform together in a band called The Morales Project.
Our band has entertained audiences at numerous venues throughout Ohio with our original music, as well as cover songs.
For the past six years, my husband has served as an outstanding recording and production expert for countless styles of music. Whether clients come with pre-written songs or just a melody, he welcomes all visitors. Currently, he is working on an EP for a local Hip Hop artist, along with several other projects. With over 40 different artists in his impressive portfolio, he is well-suited to work with a range of musical styles and needs.
As for me, I love working with both individuals and groups to help people achieve their unique musical aspirations. My class offerings include guitar (acoustic and electric), ukelele, piano, voice, bass, drums, improvisation, songwriting, and Spanish lessons. My classes cater to all age groups, from children as young as 4 years old to adult learners.
My teaching style blends sheet music instruction with popular songs that are relevant to my students’ musical interests. I understand that everyone has their own learning style, and I strive to incorporate optimum teaching practices into my classes. As further proof of my commitment to music, I hold a degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Music Education, and maintain over 20 years of lesson-teaching experience.
At $30 for 30 minutes and $60 for an hour, my fees are competitive and fair. Our lessons take place out of our home, which is situated approximately one mile from Easton. Additionally, I also perform and have recorded four different albums, and I encourage my students to explore the possibility of recording songs in our professional recording studio.
We really love what we do, and we welcome all inquiries from prospective students.
