By chance during my final year at Mount Holyoke College, I stumbled upon my calling in education through a work-study placement. This led me to discover my heartfelt dedication to middle school education. In the years since, I have taught humanities and history to students ranging from fifth to eighth grade, most recently as a sixth-grade history instructor at a private school located in Westport, CT. Through my studies at Boston University, I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching. What I find most rewarding about being a teacher is witnessing the sense of excitement in my students when they grasp new concepts. My specific areas of expertise include English Language Arts, history, reading, writing, and study skills. I am a firm believer that every child is capable of learning and I am eager to assist your child in their educational journey.
