Greetings! Thank you for visiting my page. Here is a brief introduction to my studio. In the past six years, I have been instructing both violin and viola. My teaching style is influenced by the renowned pedagogue Karen Tuttle, with an emphasis on relaxed playing, integrating your entire body, proper breathing techniques and other essential aspects of Tuttle's "Coordination Technique". I draw inspiration for beginners from Mimi Zweig's String Pedagogy (easily accessible online) and the Suzuki System. Parents are encouraged to get involved in their child's practice and performances, learning side-by-side with them.
Although my primary focus is on classical-based training, I am eager to explore other music genres that pique my students' interest, be it pop tunes or Irish fiddle music.
I possess a profound devotion to music and am overjoyed to share this passion with all students.
Regarding COVID-19 precautions, virtual lessons are available, and for in-person instruction, face masks will be worn while hand sanitizer will be provided.
