We made a 50% upfront payment to have our basement drywall mudded and taped. The contractor came a handful of times over a 3-month period, but had unforeseen issues that prevented him from consistent work. We were patient and didn't raise any concerns, but when he declared the job complete and we wrote him the remaining check without inspection, we discovered that less than half was actually finished. Despite numerous attempts to contact the contractor, we received no response and were ultimately forced to hire another company to complete the job, paying full price again. The attached pictures reveal the incomplete work, with some areas left with two coats of mud, some with one, and others with none, with none being sufficient.

Upon arrival, the individual assessed the necessary work and provided an estimate for replacing a door that featured a solid glass panel. In addition, we required a doggie door for our pets. Following his departure, he returned with the new door, complete with the incorporated doggie door. He expertly installed the new door, resulting in an improved seal compared to the prior door.

Mike re-plumbed our basement and relocated our washer to a more favorable area. Furthermore, he carried out a partial renovation of our kitchen by setting up new base cabinets, countertops, sink, and dishwasher. Mike is the only person I trust to ever touch any electrical or plumbing work on my house again! During my pregnancy with my last child, I had a few different people come out to help me.
