A little about me...
At 12 years old, I began my martial arts journey with the Okinawan style. Over the years, I added Japanese, Cambodian, and Kalaripayanttu (Indian martial arts) to my repertoire. At 45 years old, having achieved a black belt in Shitu Ryu (my second Okinawan style), I was eager to find a martial art that could revolutionize my practice. This led me to Tai Chi, which opened a new world for me, encompassing the body, mind, and spirit. It's a lifestyle that propels one to grow in multiple ways that have challenged me more than any other martial art.
Apart from martial arts, I have been practicing various forms of yoga for the past decade, including Vinyasa, Yin, and TaoYin. Additionally, I'm a lifelong student of meditation, mindfulness, and personal training.

My credentials include a black belt in Okinawan style, a 200 hr RYT certification from Yoga Alliance, membership of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, membership of the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association, a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia International University, and I'm currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Oklahoma State University.
