Hi, my name is Ed Ryan and I'm a certified Red Cross Swim/Water Safety Instructor who also holds an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification from Central Florida College. With over 20 years of experience teaching aquatic skills, I've had the privilege of working at various programs such as Walt Disney World Typhoon Lagoon swim and dive/swim programs at the EPCOT, Nemo and Friends Aquarium. I'm particularly proud of being part of the team that developed the interactive swim and dive programs at the Georgia Aquarium.
I'm happy to travel to your home pool for your lessons, and my experience includes working with both children and adults with disabilities. In my experience, lessons that are 30 to 45 minutes long (depending on the student) and held once or twice a week are more effective in learning to swim. My rate is $45 per lesson and the Red Cross recommends eight lessons.
My approach to working with clients is unique in that if you ever decide to skip or stop lessons for any reason, rescheduling or discontinuing will come at no cost to you. Payment is made one lesson at a time at the time of the lesson. I'm committed to designing a swim program that is tailored to your specific swim goals.
Thank you for considering me as your swim instructor.
Best,
Ed Ryan
