Tod did a fantastic job with the installation of my curtain rods, Dyson vacuum dock, and my new adjustable bed frame, attaching it to my headboard. He was very professional and friendly throughout the three-hour job, and I compensated him at his advertised rate of $50 per hour. Impressed with his work, I approached him for another job, installing some closet doors in my bedroom. We communicated through text messages instead of the app, and he researched the doors, giving me information regarding their cost and sending me some pictures. However, when I requested an estimate for the labor cost, he did not provide me with one. The night before our scheduled appointment, I messaged him, inquiring again about the labor cost estimate. Finally, he got back to me and quoted a price of $400, excluding the supplies' cost, which I would pay for directly at Home Depot. I found this amount to be exorbitant, especially since I had to bear the supplies' cost separately. When I inquired about the duration of the project, he estimated that it would take him an entire day, which I found surprising, given his advertised rate on the app. Ultimately, he texted to cancel the installation, saying that the job was complicated and not worth it. As a senior citizen living on a fixed income, I believe that a handyman advertising his services at $50 per hour should charge the same rate for all the jobs he does. I hoped that he would charge me the hourly rate from the time I met him at the store to get the doors, which seemed reasonable to me. However, it was disappointing to see that Tod seemed to overcharge for certain projects, potentially to benefit himself financially. Despite this, I must reiterate that Tod did a fantastic job with the first project, and I appreciate his wonderful job installing my drapery rods, vacuum dock, and bed frame attachment. I want to wish him all the best for future endeavors.

After I contacted Tod, he arrived promptly the following day, and efficiently repaired my soffit and installed a master bath exhaust fan. I am thoroughly pleased with his outstanding work and exceptional service. I highly recommend him and award him a 5-star rating.
