At Dustin Kaufman Music, you can learn from the world's top musicians without leaving home! Our faculty includes Rico Jones, an accomplished saxophonist and composer who has taught at programs such as Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts; Karina Camile Parker, a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and co-founder of Killer Queen Opera; and Jenna McLean, a versatile vocalist who has performed alongside renowned musicians such as Bobby McFerrin and Aubrey Logan.
Our faculty also includes Stephanie Hansen, a vocal instructor, music educator, and choral manager based in Minneapolis; Whitney James, a jazz vocalist who studied musical theatre and opera before pursuing a career in jazz; Sinclaire Wade and Dustin Kaufman, both exceptional drummers who have toured with renowned artists and received degrees in jazz performance; Garyfallia Kerkezou, a NYC-based drummer and violin player who won multiple scholarships and awards during her studies at the Berklee College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music; and Bobby Wiens, a Denver-based drummer who has toured with world-class musicians and studied with master drummers such as John Riley and Joe Farnsworth.
Completing our faculty are Tim Basom and Ben Weiss, both guitarists with extensive experience in performing with notable artists and teaching students of all ages; Connor Terrones, a Denver-based music teacher, singer, performer, songwriter, and producer who has taught students of various ages and experience levels and performed extensively both inside and outside of Colorado; Jillian Shively, a Nashville-based vocalist, pianist, songwriter, and film composer who has been a gigging musician for over 10 years and can help you reach your musical goals through lessons tailored to your individual learning style; and Spencer Zweifel and Will Kjeer, both highly accomplished jazz pianists who have performed professionally in a wide variety of genres, received degrees in jazz studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and won multiple awards and recognition for their impressive skills.

Initially, I was apprehensive about using a Zoom session with Dustin to teach my daughter the drums due to her lack of experience. However, with Dustin offering a first lesson half price deal, I decided to give it a try. As someone who is not musically inclined, I had concerns about setting up the drums correctly to fully benefit from the lesson. Dustin addressed this by having a free Zoom meeting with us beforehand to ensure that everything was set up properly. He is a pleasure to work with and values communication with his clients, utilizing their feedback to create the best learning experience for his students. Dustin worked collaboratively with me to make these lessons work for my daughter, and we could not be happier with the progress she is making. Additionally, Dustin maintains communication to ensure that the lessons are meeting our expectations and offers suggestions for improvement when needed. I highly recommend his services to anyone interested in music education.

Dustin Kaufman Music has exceeded my expectations. From the beginning, he attentively listened to my story, which enabled him to pair me with the perfect coach, Whitney, as we immediately connected. Furthermore, Dustin proactively followed up with me after a couple of weeks, and even months later.
My experience with Whitney has been exceptional. She has an impressive skill set, and I have found her instruction to be both enjoyable and effective. Punctuality is something I appreciate in a teacher, and Whitney has come through on this consistently. Additionally, she always makes me feel comfortable, even when I make mistakes. Her talent lies in her ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms and push me to improve.
