Available via Skype and FaceTime and based in New York City, I am a renowned and active conductor, organist, pianist, composer, and educator. In addition to my concerts, I offer private lessons for students. The studio is situated in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan, close to subway lines and West Side Highway.
With years of experience, I have worked with children of all ages, and I encourage parents to join lessons for a productive learning experience. I am adept in working with children and adults with ADD/AHDD, Aspergers/autism and have witnessed excellent results.
For many years, I served as a Professor of Piano Keyboard Skills, Theory, and Ear Training at Manhattan School of Music. I have coached several singers in Opera and Musical Theatre, and I taught Music History at Barnard College. I prioritize a friendly and supportive learning environment.
My teaching studio features a grand piano, and I welcome students at every level, from beginner to professionals worldwide from Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, etc. Improving the skills of sight-reading and improvisation is a crucial aspect of artistic growth, and I value this in addition to the musical basics.
