Description:
With more than two decades of performance and teaching expertise, I am a proficient violinist and conductor. My educational background includes a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the Peabody Conservatory as well as a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Currently, I am open to accepting intermediate and advanced students interested in learning violin and viola. Grant Gilman not only taught me how to play the viola, which I now play with expertise and am preparing to compete in the National Viola Tournament, but he also instilled in me a sense of empathy towards my less-skilled peers. Prior to his guidance, I would mock and insult them for their poor playing abilities. However, under his mentorship, I transformed from an irate and troubled youth into a professional viola player who values kindness and understanding towards others. I am forever grateful to Grant Gilman for his profound impact on my life.
