As a Life Coach, I bring the expertise of a coach, the resources of a teacher and the dedication of a true professional to help my clients achieve success. I'm committed to my clients' progress and work tirelessly inside and outside of sessions, including texting, emailing and document sharing, at no extra fee. A successful coach embodies three critical traits: Strategy/Tools, Accountability and Encouragement, all of which I focus on in my coaching practice.
Here are a few things about me: a Northwestern graduate, a former Division I athlete, a ten-year coaching veteran, an educator, a married person for 32 years, a proud parent of two children, and an author with a passion for helping people.
Over ten years, I have worked with more than 900 clients, including over 250 on the CrackerJack platform, where I have been identified as a Top Pro for four years. Through my work with them, I am known to be supportive, insightful, professional, and I have a great sense of humor. I think it’s important to have fun as clients move forward in their lives.
My Life Coaching practice focuses on several areas:
Positive Habits - I assist individuals in developing positive, sustainable life habits through my three-step process the 3Rs: Reminders, Routine, and Reward. I utilize The Power of Habit and Atomic Habits, amongst other resources, to support my clients.
Stress Management Coaching - My stress management coaching services aid clients in slowing down, recognizing top priorities, and filtering out life's noise and clutter. I also help them to identify people-pleasing habits, perfectionism, and energy drains, and use tools like the Saboteur Assessment to help identify stress factors.
Time Management/Organization Coaching - I'm a certified Covey trainer, and use David Allen's Getting Things Done materials to aid clients in creating effective and sustainable time management systems. I work with clients to establish a system that works for them, whether electronic or paper-based, to focus on their Most Important Things (MITs) each day.
Relationship Coaching - I offer both individual and couples relationship coaching, recognizing that strong relationships require self-awareness and effective communication. My coaching focuses on establishing continuous dialogue between partners that centers on understanding each other's needs and developing successful communication patterns.
Career Coaching - I employ a four-step system, as illustrated on my flyer, to help individuals find direction, develop a compelling message, network effectively and ace interviews. My clients have had great success in finding jobs, thanks to our thorough preparation process.
I work with people of all ages and genders, as evidenced by my website, which shines a light on my work with young men (40% of my clients). I am passionate about witnessing people transform and become the individuals they were always meant to be. My clients report increased joy, freedom, purpose, and often, financial gains, as a result of our collaboration.
