In 1985, I began Teaching Voice while residing in Glendale, California. Despite my busy schedule of Performing and Touring, I maintained a small Studio of students. In 1996, we constructed a residence in West Palmdale. Fast forward to 2005, we built my Lancaster Studio, whose doors opened in January 2006. I commemorated this milestone with an Opening Night Event, where the Cast of Beauty and the Beast was in attendance. In under 90 days, my student population swelled from three to 50 Private Students, and it has been thriving ever since.
Numerous students of mine have gone on to engage in professional vocal work, with some performing in different parts of the world. Additionally, many of my students have secured recording contracts, while others have received full scholarships to their desired universities. As of now, I have two students with Producer Callbacks to The VOICE, one student with a Lead Callback for Hamilton, one student with a Callback for Evita's National Tour, one student who has won the LPAC Scholarship, one who attended NYU, and many others who are currently enrolled or preparing to enroll at various prestigious Colleges.
Teaching voice has been one of my greatest pleasures, specifically when witnessing students who initially had little knowledge of proper singing techniques grow to become well-rounded and skilled. My ultimate goal is to enable my students to succeed, as I believe that success is achieved where Preparation MEETS Opportunity.
