Since 2007, I have been training all breeds and temperaments using only positive reinforcement and force-free techniques. In addition, I have helped establish a force-free training community in our area of HR to better serve our clients with similar trainers. I do not use any methods that could frighten, harm, or intimidate your dogs while training them to exhibit appropriate behaviors.
My experience in the field includes working with various clients such as private clients, doggy daycares, big box stores, and animal shelters. However, my most significant success originated from private one-on-one training in your home environment, where we establish a lasting bond tailored to meet your specific needs.
By harnessing dogs' natural instincts, my simple cues teach them which behaviors will yield the attention, food, toys, comfort, freedom to explore, play, and relax they desire. I also recommend that I come to your home to observe your dog's behavior, which will aid you in developing more manageable training practices.

Andrea is simply incredible! I own two Golden Retrievers and a Yorkie Poo, and my Yorkie Poo has always been a barker. Thanks to just one lesson with Andrea, and following her homework, my Yorkie Poo's barking has already improved by 90%. Additionally, Andrea's suggestions on how to alleviate anxiety have helped my Golden Retrievers become much calmer. I strongly recommend Andrea as the best dog trainer out there! Andrea provided invaluable assistance in training our 3-month-old chocolate lab puppy, for which we are extremely grateful. Her approach involves creating an individualized plan for each pup that utilizes positive reinforcement techniques. What sets her apart is not only her ability to help train your dog, but also her willingness to explain the reasoning behind each step, making it a learning experience for the owner as well.
