My involvement with canines began with training my own dogs. Eventually, I found myself helping friends and neighbors with their furry friends, and for the last 20 years, this passion has culminated in a fulfilling career. Witnessing the bond between dogs and their owners grow, and the unconditional devotion offered by dogs is immensely gratifying.
Recently, I have earned certification from the leading independent certifying organization for the dog training profession, the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). I was certified as CCPDT-KA (Knowledge Assessed), validating my mastery of humane and science-based dog training practices. To earn this certification, I had to complete at least 300 hours in training dogs in class or privately, which prepared me to sit for a rigorous 4-hour exam.

With Reward-Based Training, the fastest and easiest method to train animals, you will see the changes in your dog's behavior immediately, and we will focus on goals that meet your specific needs. I employ game-based activities for mental stimulation and confidence building which make learning engaging for both you and your dog.
While the standard curriculum spans 6-8 sessions, it can be tailored to your dog's current situation and your behavior goals. Recognizing that all dogs are different, each session is conducted with your pet's unique traits in mind, and we build each week on the previous one, with no need for expensive packages. You have the liberty to disengage from the training anytime you wish, and are not beholden to me, but rather your dog.
In addition to hands-on sessions, you can benefit from unlimited free phone and email support for the life of your dog. I have trained a multitude of breeds, and the appreciation from satisfied pet owners and the knowledge that I have improved the lives of their cherished dogs make this my life's calling.

The trainer known as MJ is exceptional! He exhibits an admirable level of flexibility with regards to scheduling, as well as being consistently punctual and thoroughly prepared. Additionally, he has a remarkable ability to communicate with dogs, often being referred to as a "dog whisperer". As an owner of two young puppies, MJ began working with them at a mere 2.5 months old. Each week he would present us with new exercises and "homework", both indoors and outdoors, with the dogs sometimes separated and sometimes working together. My puppies adore him; one in particular had a propensity towards barking and anxiety around other dogs, but MJ successfully coached me through a solution. Naturally, it requires time and energy to achieve desired results, but I am remarkably thankful for my experience with him!
