We selected this trainer for our English Setter, Remi, who was sweet but lacked self-control and had excessive energy. As a larger woman, I found him unsafe to walk due to his pulling and strength, despite his 40-pound weight. Despite attempting private, in-house training, we were unsuccessful and pursued this trainer. I am grateful we found her! During our included training session, Remi displayed amazing improvement. He walked on the leash without pulling and performed well with basic commands. Most notably, his recall was impressive as he immediately responded when I called him. With his training nearing completion, I am excited to bring him home and continue his progress. I plan to update my review after a few days, but based on his remarkable progress thus far, I am confident it will be positive. I highly recommend this trainer and have already referred her to several friends.

Cynthia helped us address the numerous negative behaviors my dog Pixel had learned. Thanks to her expert assistance, we can now maintain better control over Pixel's actions during social situations. Initially, I had reservations about leaving my dog as he had never been separated from us before. However, after reading several positive reviews, I decided to schedule an appointment. Upon arriving, Cynthia and JD greeted us warmly and their hospitality eased my apprehensions. My dog had proven to be quite uncooperative when training with me, thus I was uncertain if the program would be effective. Nevertheless, Cynthia regularly updated us and after just one week, I was amazed by the progress my dog had made! Having stayed for a period of three weeks, I even received three lessons of my own. By the end of our time there, I was entirely pleased with the results. I deeply appreciate Cynthia and JD's dedication and patience toward both my dog and myself - thanks! Watching Cynthia and her son work with my 14-week-old German Shepherd puppy was truly amazing, and I love them both for it. When I first got my dog, Hikaru Sulu, he was a rambunctious pup who refused to listen and would chew on anything he could get his teeth on. He even went potty all over my house, pulled on his leash, and bit and chewed on me. Despite my best efforts, nothing seemed to work. It wasn't until I found Cynthia's dog training page that things began to change. I was excited to give it a go, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Hikaru Sulu was sent off to Cynthia's house for three weeks of puppy training and boarding. I received regular video updates on his progress, and I was thrilled at how well he was doing. During that time, I had four lessons with Cynthia and her son. They taught me the proper training words to use with my dog, and when Sulu was not being trained, I had the opportunity to practice at home. Cynthia's son was always on hand to show me what to do, and then it was my turn to take the leash. Throughout the training process, I was very impressed with the care and the environment. They kept the dogs in their own rooms, which was so warm and welcoming. They truly treated my dog like he was one of the family. I could tell that Cynthia and her son loved all the dogs they trained, and they never raised their voices or frightened any of the animals. They were always calm and firm in their corrections. My dog never showed any signs of fear or timidity around them, and he respected them and was eager to please. I am so grateful for everything Cynthia and her son did for me and my dog. I can call or text her anytime with questions, and she always responds quickly. When I came to pick up my newly trained pup, they even gave me treats, toys, and freshly washed bedding that I had brought with me. Cynthia even gave me a toy that belonged to one of her late dogs, and it has become one of Hikaru Sulu's favorites. I would highly recommend her services and plan to return when my dog outgrows his puppy stage.
