I am a fluent English speaker with over 20 years of experience instructing and performing on both the flute and piccolo. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing alongside notable figures such as Savion Glover in a flute/tap duet titled "The Opera-Trainer with Junior Church". I have also showcased my skills with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for the Side by Side event, provided flute accompaniment for the NJPAC Women's Association Luncheon's Purple Haze, participated in over 100 national parades between 2002-2017, and led the Drew University Flute Choir from 2010-2012. Notably, I was a featured flautist in an opera workshop production where I performed "One Night in Bankok" and have been hired for countless banquets and other events.
As an expert flute instructor with Music and Arts, Lincoln University bands student leader, Newark, Science Park HS/Central HS Marching band staff, and private lesson provider, I have had the pleasure of sharing my passion for music with countless students. To those I have taught and those who aspire to learn, I encourage you to take each lesson with intention and mindfulness. Progress takes time, and it is easy to become caught up in the rush of planning and decision-making. However, music provides a peaceful outlet that allows us to appreciate the beauty of each moment.
