Even though the installation was completed on an extremely sultry morning/afternoon, I was immensely content with the outcome - much better than anticipated. Our interaction with D&D Mason Contractors for a significant repointing project on our 1960s chimneys, front porch, and retaining wall was phenomenal. Darold and Michael provided transparent communication from the outset, outlining the procedure and the associated expenses of each stage. Before initiating work, we were presented with a detailed contract. The job was challenging because of our fragile slate roof, necessitating the use of a hydraulic lift to repoint the chimneys. Michael skillfully executed the repointing, eliminating all decayed mortar from his lift and replacing it with color-matched mortar that blended in with the original elements. He even included a decorative groove to every mortar joint, mirroring the 1963 original construct. We genuinely value their focus on artistry. The assignment concluded after approximately a week. At the conclusion of each workday, all materials were cleaned up and placed on our property. After the task was done, all dust was cleared from the job site. We are extremely satisfied with this organization and would gladly work with them again in the future.

Our slate walkway required the removal of grouting/cement and replacement with fresh cement. Upon my request, Mr. Davis promptly responded and established a meeting time, which he confirmed on the same day. He was professional and punctual. He completed the assignment in a timely manner, and the outcome was ideal! I would utilize his services repeatedly because it is a delight to collaborate with such adept professionals.
