When I needed to move into a new apartment across town on short notice for a 9/1 move in Boston, I chose the most affordable option I could find: Big Guy Movers. Though I was initially apprehensive, I did my due diligence by asking questions and speaking with representatives to ensure their legitimacy. Despite them arriving late, likely due to high demand on one of the busiest moving days of the year, the movers were efficient and friendly as they packed my one room's worth of belongings into a truck that was much larger than necessary. It took just under two hours to complete the move, but unfortunately, the mattress was not sufficiently protected and became dirty. I was ultimately reimbursed for the damage and learned to take extra precautions in the future. Despite this issue, everything else arrived safely and the process overall was painless. I would recommend hiring Big Guy Movers for affordable short-distance moves.
