This was my initial encounter with what I believed was a necessity for data retrieval on my "My Passport Ultra" portable hard drive. My devices were unable to recognize the hard drive. Upon calling Petri, he promptly retrieved the hard drive that same day, contacted me in the evening to inform me that the USB 3.0 cable that accompanied the hard drive had malfunctioned, replaced the cable and delivered the hard drive back to me the following day. Astoundingly, Petri did not charge me for his services. It is revitalizing to receive such transparent and friendly services. In the event of another hard drive failure (hoping that doesn't happen!), I would choose Petri without hesitation. Their service was incredibly convenient with pick-up and drop-off of my hard drive and frequent updates on the recovery progress. Since I submitted my hard drive during the holiday season and needed some financial flexibility to pay for the entire recovery, Petri kindly delayed completing the recovery for a few weeks after conducting repairs and diagnostic checks.
